The F3 is a 5-spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The F3 has 3" wide spokes. Struts radiate out at 45° angles.

All of our plates and connectors are cut from A36 steel. Our rods are fabricated from 1018 steel. If you need plates, connectors, or rods from custom metals like A572, 304/316 stainless, or other alloys, please contact us for a custom quote.
