FC4

The FC4 is a 5-spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The FC4 has 4" wide curved spokes along the tie beam and 3" wide curved spokes on the king post and struts. Struts radiate out at 45° angles. 

3/16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1/4" is better for applications that need structural support.
