VTE6

The VTE6 plate is useful for connecting truss bottom tie beams to rafters where the tie beam hangs from the rafters . 6" wide plates look good on timbers ranging in width from 6" to 10". 3/16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1/4" is better for applications that need structural support. 

V plates connect to roof members so they depend on roof pitch. Please choose the correct pitch and plate thickness from the dropdown.
