01 Description
About the fan truss plate
The Esker fan truss plate is a 5-spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The Esker fan truss plate has 6" wide curved spokes along the tie beam, king post and struts. Struts radiate out at 45° angles. 3/16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1/4" is better for applications that need structural support.
