Custom Steel Plates for Timber

To your timbers, cut from A36 steel

Steel plates designed to your own timbers: T plates, corner plates, splice plates, the truss plates for a king post or queen post truss (fan, strut fan, heel, collar tie, strut, king post, and peak), and plate washers. Pick a plate, enter your timbers as measured, and set its size, bolts, and ends. Each designer draws the plate and prices it as you go.

Custom design costs nothing extra: no design or setup fee, just the steel, priced by weight with shipping in the lower 48 built in. Every plate is laser cut from A36 steel in 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" in our ISO 9001 shop in Texas, bare or with matte black powder coat. Looking for custom truss plates in a ready-drawn style? The same shapes come in six catalog collections for 3" to 12" timbers, from the Cornice to the Sierra. Before you choose bolt sizes, read the bolt spacing and edge distance guide.
