4" x 8" Heavy Duty Angle Bracket (L Bracket) in 1/4" steel

A heavy-duty steel angle bracket, also called an L bracket: one piece of 1/4" steel plate, 4" wide, bent into two 8" legs. Each leg has two holes for a 5/8" bolt or lag screw (11/16" holes), 1" and 3 1/2" from its free end, centered across the width. It weighs about 4.4 lb.

Use it where two timbers meet at a right angle: a post to a beam, a beam to a wall or ledger, a knee brace, or a pergola rafter to its beam. It also holds shelves and mantels.

The bend is slightly past square on purpose, within 5°, so the bolts draw both legs flat and the corner seats tight.

It ships as bare steel; matte black powder coat can be added in the cart (finishes). Made to order in Texas, with the current lead time shown in the cart and free shipping in the lower 48.
